Don’t Miss the Stamp Duty Holiday
Since July 2020, there has been a holiday on the Stamp Duty Land Tax that must be paid if you buy a property or land over a certain price in England and Northern Ireland. Whilst it is currently only paid on residential properties over £500,000, on 1st April 2021 the threshold will change back to £125,000.
The holiday deadline is certainly not far away once you factor in the average time it takes to finalise the sale of a property once an offer is accepted. Selling a home can be unpredictable at times and avoiding any extra costs can alleviate some stress.
To reduce your chance of missing out on the Stamp Duty holiday deadline on 31st March 2021, we recommend that you be on the market by 26th September. The optimum date to sell your home at the lowest cost for you is just around the corner.
That means that it’s time to get ready for the housing market now! 360 Properties can help you to up the anti straight away and sell your property without this additional tax to pay.
Reduce the risk of paying extra later by taking action now. It’s important to take advantage of this tax break whilst you still can.
